I live my life each day, going about my normal routines, and before I know it - the day is almost gone. Then, like a snap of the fingers - I start all over again. Where does the time go?
I think that's why I love photography. I can stop time, even if it's for a brief moment. I can capture a special moment in my son's life, a beautiful time of the day, or even a season. I can capture time in a single shot, and make it last forever. Or, depending on the mood or subject of the photo, I can even take my self or a viewer back in time. It's a very special thing, time. None of us should take it for granted.
